3.2 These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Shipping & Returns Policy (all published on our Site), constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to any purchase. No other terms apply unless agreed in writing by a director of Aegis Armour Ltd.
3.3 We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any amendments will be published on our Site with an updated effective date. The Terms in force at the time your Order is placed shall govern that Contract.
3.4 These Terms are written in English. If any translation is provided, the English version shall prevail in the event of any inconsistency.
4. PRODUCTS AND PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS
4.1 We take reasonable care to ensure that all product descriptions, images, specifications, and pricing displayed on our Site are accurate at the time of publication. However, product images are for illustrative purposes only. Colours, textures, and finishes may vary slightly from the image displayed due to differences in monitor calibration and display technology. This shall not constitute a mis-description for the purposes of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
4.2 Where Products are described as PPE or carry a certified protection rating (including CE, UKCA, or EN17092:2020 classification ratings such as Level A, AA, or AAA), such descriptions refer to the certification standard attained by the manufacturer under laboratory test conditions. These ratings do not guarantee protection against all eventualities in all accidents.
4.3 All Products are subject to availability. If a Product becomes unavailable after your Order has been accepted, we will notify you by email as soon as reasonably practicable and will issue a full refund within fourteen (14) days.
4.4 We reserve the right to withdraw any Product from sale at any time without notice prior to Order acceptance.
5. PRICING AND PAYMENT
5.1 All prices displayed on our Site are in pounds sterling (GBP) and, where applicable, inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate. Where VAT applies, it will be clearly itemised at checkout.
5.2 In compliance with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, the full total price payable, inclusive of any applicable delivery charge, shall be displayed to you before you submit your Order. No additional charges will be applied after Order submission unless expressly agreed in writing.
5.3 We accept payment by the methods listed on our Site at the time of purchase. All payment processing is handled securely through Shopify Payments or such other authorised payment processor as we may use from time to time. We do not store your full card details.
5.4 In the unlikely event of a pricing error on our Site, we reserve the right to cancel any Order placed at the erroneous price. We will notify you promptly and offer you the option to reorder at the correct price or receive a full refund.
5.5 Title to the Products shall not pass to you until we have received payment in full. Risk in the Products passes to you upon delivery.
6. ORDER PROCESS AND CONTRACT FORMATION
6.1 Our Site constitutes an invitation to treat, not an offer. Your Order constitutes an offer to purchase the relevant Products from us on these Terms.
6.2 Upon placing your Order, you will receive an automated email acknowledging receipt. This acknowledgement does not constitute our acceptance of your Order.
6.3 A legally binding Contract between us is formed only when we send you an Order Confirmation confirming that your Order has been accepted and that despatch has been initiated. We reserve the right to decline any Order prior to issuing an Order Confirmation without giving reasons.
6.4 You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all information entered at the time of ordering, including delivery address, product size, and contact details. We accept no liability for delayed or failed delivery arising from inaccurate information provided by you.
7. DELIVERY
7.1 We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only. We do not currently accept international orders.
7.2 Standard delivery is via Royal Mail 48 (estimated 2–3 Working Days from despatch). Orders with a total product value of £100.00 or above qualify for free standard delivery. Orders below this threshold are subject to a delivery charge as displayed at checkout.
7.3 Customers may select DPD Next Day Delivery at checkout for an additional charge of £7.99. Next-day delivery is subject to order cut-off times as displayed on our Site and to DPD's service availability. DPD next-day delivery excludes Sundays and public holidays.
7.4 Delivery timescales are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Time shall not be of the essence for delivery unless expressly agreed in writing. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a delay in delivery outside our reasonable control.
7.5 Risk in the Products passes to you upon delivery to the address specified in your Order. If you nominate a safe place or alternative recipient, risk passes upon delivery to that location or person.
7.6 If no one is available to accept delivery and the Product cannot be left safely, our carrier will leave notification and attempt redelivery or hold the parcel for collection as per the carrier's standard procedure.
8. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL
8.1 As a Consumer purchasing online, you have the right to cancel your Order for any reason within fourteen (14) calendar days, beginning the day after you (or a third party nominated by you, other than the carrier) receive the Products. This right arises under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
8.2 To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us unambiguously by email to the address on our Site, or by completing the cancellation form available on our Site, before the cancellation period expires. The burden of proving timely cancellation rests with you.
8.3 Products returned under this clause must be:
– Unused, unworn, and in their original condition;
– Returned with all original packaging, hangtags, labels, and documentation intact;
– Despatched back to us within fourteen (14) calendar days of you notifying us of cancellation.
8.4 You are responsible for the cost of returning Products to us unless otherwise agreed in writing. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured return service, as we cannot accept liability for Products lost or damaged in transit.
8.5 We reserve the right to make a deduction from the refund amount to reflect any reduction in the value of the Products caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
8.6 We will process your refund within fourteen (14) calendar days of receiving the returned Products or receiving evidence of return despatch, whichever is earlier. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
|
⚠ PPE IMPORTANT NOTICE: By their nature as PPE, protective garments that have been worn, even briefly, may be compromised. Products showing signs of use, modification, or contamination cannot be resold and may be subject to the deduction provision in clause 8.5. |
9. FAULTY GOODS AND YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS
9.1 Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all Products sold on our Site must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory rights.
9.2 Short-term right to reject: If a Product is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you have the right to reject it and receive a full refund within thirty (30) calendar days of receiving it.
9.3 To exercise your rights under this clause, please contact us using the details on our Site and provide your order number, a description of the fault, and photographic evidence where practicable. We will not require you to return Products at your own cost where the fault is established.
9.4 For the avoidance of doubt, the following do not constitute faults for the purposes of this clause:
– Damage caused by misuse, accident, modification, or failure to follow care or wearing instructions;
– Fair wear and tear consistent with the stated protection category of the Product;
– Damage sustained during use of the Product in its capacity as PPE in an accident where the damage is consistent with the Product performing its protective function.
10. PPE COMPLIANCE, REGULATORY STANDARDS AND SAFETY
10.1 All Products sold on our Site that are classified as Personal Protective Equipment are supplied in compliance with the UK PPE Regulations 2018 and, where applicable, carry UKCA or CE marking in accordance with applicable retained UK law and relevant harmonised standards including EN17092:2020 (Protective clothing for motorcycle riders).
10.2 The protection classification of a garment (Level A, AA, or AAA under EN17092:2020) reflects the results of standardised laboratory impact, abrasion, and seam strength tests. These ratings are an objective measure of the garment's tested performance under those specific conditions and do not represent a guarantee of protection against death, serious injury, or any particular outcome in any real-world accident.
10.3 You acknowledge and agree that as the user of PPE, you assume the following obligations:
– Ensuring the Product is correctly fitted in accordance with the manufacturer's sizing and fitting guidance before use;
– Following all care, maintenance, and inspection instructions provided by the manufacturer;
– Replacing PPE that has been involved in an accident or impact event, even where visible damage is not apparent, as structural integrity may be compromised;
– Not modifying or altering any PPE in any way that could affect its protective properties;
– Ensuring that any integrated or compatible armour/protectors meet the applicable EN CE standards.
10.4 Aegis Armour's liability as a retailer is limited to supplying Products that conform to the description and certification standard stated at the time of sale. We do not assume the liability of a manufacturer unless we have placed our own brand upon a Product, in which case the Consumer Protection Act 1987 applies.
10.5 Nothing in this clause 10 limits or excludes our liability under the Consumer Protection Act 1987 for damage caused by a defective product, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded at law.

Manufacturer warranty details are available on the relevant product listing or in the documentation enclosed with the Product.
12.2 A manufacturer warranty is offered by the manufacturer, not by Aegis Armour Ltd. Any warranty claims should be directed to the manufacturer in the first instance, unless otherwise specified. We will assist you in facilitating manufacturer warranty claims where reasonably practicable.
12.3 A manufacturer warranty does not cover: fair wear and tear; accidental damage; damage caused by misuse, modification, neglect, or failure to follow care instructions; or damage sustained during use of the Product in its role as PPE where such damage is consistent with the garment performing its protective function.
12.4 Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are entirely separate from, and not limited or affected by, any manufacturer warranty.

13.2 Subject always to clause 13.1, and to the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you in connection with any Contract (whether arising in contract, tort, negligence, statute, or otherwise) shall not exceed the total price paid by you for the Products that are the subject of the relevant claim.
13.3 We accept no liability for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or damage to goodwill, howsoever arising.
13.4 We shall not be liable for any failure to fulfil our obligations under these Terms where such failure arises from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemic, strike, flood, fire, telecommunications failure, or failure of third-party couriers (Force Majeure). In such circumstances, we will notify you and may suspend or terminate the affected Contract, issuing a refund for any undelivered Products.
